I totally forgot to blog that my family got on the LDS Church News for the Gilbert Temple Groundbreaking. To go to the article just click on the picture below.

I saved it as a Google Doc also so that I will always have it. You can see that by clicking here.

1st time taking the bus to church

We do not have a car yet and so we had the pleasure of taking the bus to church. It actually was not bad at all, we have been getting used to it over the last two days. It definitely helps seeing the beach and beauty Hawaii the whole way there and back. So I will take you through our journey step by step:

We walked to the bus stop by our house. Our house is two streets behind the 7 Eleven. It is hard to see the beautiful mountain back there will my trusty phone camera but it is gorgeous. Anyway, now we wait and wait...

This is the entrance to BYUH and we actually took this picture on our way back to the bus stop but it really comes first so here it is. BYUH has done a great job making the campus very beautiful.

And now, we walk... The Stake Center is on campus but it is about a 10 minute walk from the beginning of campus and a very fun one with the crazy girls. :-)

These last two pictures were taken at the bus stop just off of campus as we waited to be taken home by our "chauffeur." Ha, Ha, Ha!!

We had to leave the Big AZ with a Bang!

We got a gift card to Amazing Jake's for Christmas from Kiera and so we took the family for one last thrill in the Big AZ. It was really fun but it makes not sense to me why their food is not that good? Well anyway, here is the family. I have to say that all these pictures on from my phone camera which is not the best but it does ok if everyone is holding very still.

Our first ride after dinner...... Are you sick yet. This is how well my camera handles movement. This did look like a fun ride that they went on.

Here they are when the ride finished.

They only had two bumper boats working so Lacie and Alexa just bumped each other until their little hearts were content and then they just spun in circles. I guess you can only bump your sister so many times before even that is looses its fun.

Ashlyn just refused to hold still so this is what she gets. I am really sticking it to her.

Children's love for Mom

Every morning my girls come into our bed and they all want Mom. It is so funny because they all fight because they want to be the lucky one to be touching Mom. If both of Mom's sides are taken then they lay flat on her stomach. It is rather nice for me because I am not crowded but it would be nice to be honored to have such love. But only Mom's have that great honor, that is part of what makes motherhood so special. Here is a picture that tells a thousand words, and remember that Lacie is missing and she is usually one of the first. Also, there was no posing involved, I surprised everyone. They barely got off a smile.

While I was posting the above picture from my phone, Alexa and Ashlyn started fighting because they both had more of Mom than the other. Alexa was on her side and Ashlyn was on top but then Ashlyn put her arm on Mom's side, and Alexa got mad and finally she put her leg up on top of Mom. It was funny so I quickly grabbed this picture:

Again, while I was posting the above picture, Ashlyn got mad at Mom because she was squished. It is so funny, all the girls come in and take up our precious space and then say they are squished. Anyway, here is mad Ashlyn.

I went into the family room and Lacie was in there watching TV. I told her that I had just taken a few pictures of the girls all over Mom like they are every morning. She was sad and said that she did not come in because I had asked her not too. I had told her last night that I was up all night with her and the other girls and asked her not to come in so that I could get some sleep. She obeyed and that makes me very happy, so here is obedient Lacie.

Our family End of the Summer APX Party...Yippee Kiyah

Yesterday I decided to call it a summer. My whole team went home last weekend and I bribed a tech to stay and install my jobs for the week. Well, yesterday I decided it was enough since I found out that all my hard work would not go to my summer numbers. Our office had lots of trials and we were told there would be a good chance that we would get all of September added to our summer numbers. Unfortunalty, it was confirmed that only through 9/17 will be added. So that was the last straw to get me to call it a summer. We went to the reservoir or lake by one of the apartments and we burned two of my APX shirts. We invited the tech that installed my job and his name was Davie, and he brought some small APX equipment boxes that made it possible to prop up the shirts to make it look cool, this was his burning contribution. We all ate Cheetos, Cracker Jack's, and drank rootbeer around the little fire, it was a blast. Anyway, below is some footage of this blessed event. Our camera ran out of batteries right before we started the fire so it is taken with my handheld so the quaility is not the best but you get the idea.

Quick Update

It has been for ever since I have posted anything because our computer broke. I am at the public library for a few minutes and thought I would make a quick update.

We left Tampa for several reasons and moved to Jackson, Mississippi where we spent several weeks and did very well. We ran into a few issues and are now in Texarkana, TX for a week or so. It has been a crazy summer.

Yesterday, one of the guys, Ken, who is not LDS come to church with us and wanted a Book of Mormon. He is an amazing guy.

I also wrote a talk that I will post once my computer is up and running. It is more like a compilation on scriptures but it should be helpful. Ken asked me where in the Bible it talks about the stick of Joseph and I told him that I would find out and let him know, so the talk is some of my research.

Anyway, my family is doing great, they are actually in Illinois visiting Kevin and heather and then they are going to Iowa to visit Mark and Sherri. On their way to Illinois they met Kevin and Sherri in Nauvoo and watched the Nauvoo Pageant, they enjoyed that and some time in Nauvoo. So needless to say they are having a fun time.

Made it to Florida

We finally have made it to Florida. We spent three days at Disney World (1 day was complimentary) and then spent a day on the beaches of Orlando and then a day on the beaches of an island called Caldezi (spelling is wrong). It was a blast. When we were on the island we saw tons of dolphins and they were inside the swim zone and so we got a good look at them. Also, our apartments are simply amazing and I am looking forward to a hard but fun summer. My computer is not set up yet so I am using the business center at the apartments, so later I will try and go into more details about our vacation before the summer.

Snowman Family

We have never build an official snowman, not just here in Utah but anywhere we have lived with snow we have not built one. So, today we decided to break that tradition. Kiera told me to go and take down the Christmas lights, while she was away. I was not very obedient, Alexa and myself went outside and started to build a snowman. Below is the first snowman that we have built. I put a Hanna Montana wig that the girls got for Christmas on her and it looked good. It started out as Hanna Montana the snowman....

... Then it became the APX Snowman.

Then I got the crazy idea of making our family in snowmen. We had one of Lacie's friends take this picture and that is why it is all crooked. We all stood behind our snowman even Kembri. I made Kiera have a hidden hip and rested Kembri snowbaby on it.

Aren't they cute... I mean my family.

Here is our Snow Family from the back side and they are nice looking.

Check out that handy work with how I made Kembri. She is all just a blanket except a head.

The jacket was a last minute touch that I think looks real nice.

There is snow baby Ashlyn.

Alexa made hers almost entirely by herself. I helped her a little but she did a good job.

I know that all I seem to care about lately is ice cycles and snowmen but they are just so neat. I will try to be more normal next post.

We could not get home because of the snow

We went out to do some errands and went to eat at Red Robin (that is such a good place). Well we came out of the mall and it was snowing real hard. We stopped to get gas and could not get out of the gas station because the road was too steep, so we went another way and it looked ok at first until we got a few feet from the stop sign and we stopped. I had to get out and push while Kiera drove. I thought we where home free, but no. We started up the street before our street and we could not make it up. We tried another way and no luck the roads were too steep and our tires had no traction. We drove around for about 45 mins trying different routes and finally we stopped in the side of the road and decided to just walk up to our house and come get our van later. While we were getting the kids clothes on the snow plow came by us. We jumped in the car and took off, it went up the steepest hill and we were still unsure that our van would make it but thanks to our prayers we made it up the hill. Next we had to come down another very steep hill. I held the brake the entire way home, some times I had control and some times I did not. Well we made it to our house, finally but could not make it up our driveway. I got out and cleared the snow and attempted it again, but still could not get up so I put rock salt down and then was able to make it up our driveway. We are going to invest in some chains so that this will not happen again. This picture below did not turn out that good, but you can see how heavy the snow was falling. All together we must of gotten about 8-10 inches of snow. I am in the back left and Lacie, Alexa, and Ashlyn are to the right in pink but we are hard to find.

Suspicious characters at our yard

Last night we came home and there were three boys outside our house playing with our blowup Christmas decorations. They saw us and dropped on their bellies. Then, they realized that they were still in clear view and they all made a mad dash to get out of the yard without being seen, but to their dismay we watched everything. One of the boys tripped on one of the lines that were staked into the ground and fliped over, it was so funny. We stopped and got out to find that it was Lacie's friends, Jackson, Dustin, and Dustins brother. These boys all like Lacie and are always coming over just to say hi and to see her. Jackson, the one that had tripped on the line was kind enough to re-enact his flipping over, we laughed and then sent them on their way.

I was hoping that I had a few more years before I had to deal with boy trouble, but I was wrong. It seems that the boys these days are a lot more daring then when I was a kid.

Cutest APX salesgirls ever

My girls are so funny, they love to take my hat and act like an APX Salesgirls. Lacie has a very funny impression of an APX Salesman. Here they are in the flesh. You can also see some of our backyard in these pictures.

Having our newest girl Kembri Ella

Here is Kiera going in to have her baby. This is her in front of the hospital sign and you can see her full belly.

This is me walking into the hospital.

This is Kiera right before they took her into the c-section room.

I am all ready to head in and see our baby born (c-section).

Here is Kiera on the table right before Kembri is born. She does not like to be on her back when she is pregnant but she is trying to be a good sport.

One of the first pictures of our newest addition, Kembri Ella Conover.

This is Kembri when they brought her back from the nursery. They kept her in there for a long time.

Here we are as we leave the hospital to take Kembri home.

Here is Kembri today which is 12/9/07. I took a while to post about her birth.

Letting off Fireworks for the first time

After work Kiera had a surprise for us and so she had the girls stay up. She had bought some fireworks for us to let off. We went out in the parking lot of our apartment building which is on a large hill. The first one we let off just blew up on the ground. So we tried another one of the same kind. I lite it and ran back as Kiera yelled, a car is coming up the hill. It blew up all over the windshield of the car. Then we realized that its lights were flashing and we realized that it was an undercover cop car. Come to find out that fireworks are illegal in the county that we were in, but that the next county over they are legal. He was nice and we got in the car and drove to the next county. We found a secluded street and let off the two big ones and they were so cool. They were like regular big fireworks. It was a little nerve racking because in Arizona they are illegal and so I still in that mindset. I will enjoy them a lot more next July 4th if we are somewhere that they are legal.

Wonderful 4th of July

I hit my goal for the day for installs which I was very thankful to the Lord for helping me to hit my goal. We got to get off early and we had a barbecue as an office. It was a blast but the food took forever to be ready and so we were starving by the time we ate. They had a slip and slide set up that my girls had a blast on. After the barbecue we went as a family to the Riverfront fireworks. These fireworks are rated as the third best in the country. I have to admit that they were absolutely awesome. The best I have ever seen. I got some pictures and videos I will post once I get them downloaded. The finale literally lite up the sky for about 30 seconds to a full minute.

Missed fireworks with my family

Today was a sad day, because my family went to watch fireworks at Nashville Shores while I was still at work. I was very sad and kept imaging funny things that my girls did last time we watched fireworks together. I guess that is what happens when I work so many hours during the summer, but my girls and I are looking forward to me spending lots of time with them after the summer is over.

New Callings

We got a call this morning to meet with the President of our branch, Pres. Leadbetter. Kiera got called to be the Primary Chorister and I got called to teach the youth for Sunday School. We are very excited for our callings.

Infinite Bubbles thanks to Janet

For work I was in the home of a very nice lady. I helped her get a security system and she gave me some bubbles that she had bought for her dogs but they just scared them. The cool thing about these bubbles is the design of the bubble wand. It is designed with 4 loops and just tons of bubbles come out and continue to come out. My girls love these bubbles.

My girls hullahooping

My girls hullahooping

Today is Sunday and yesterday we packed up the house to move to TN. So now our house is almost entirely empty. They have no toys except for the stuffed animals that Jessica (our friend upstairs) gave the girls and this hullahoop. Debbie taught Lacie how to spin it on her neck. Here is a little video of all my girls hullahoopin.

Moving is never fun

Debbie came down form Idaho (BYU Idaho) and will be staying with Cindy for the summer. She was kind enough to let us steel her for about a week to help us pack. Wow, Kiera and Debbie got so much done while I was at work. We have to be entirely packed and moved out by this coming Monday so we can start our journey to Nashville, TN.

I was excited because my manager at Prosper, Jason Emett, told me about a luggage carrier that attaches to the roof rack of my Dodge Caravan and that his friend bought it at Walmart. Here is a picture of what it looks like.

It is water resistant and I am hoping that we can fit two on top of our van. Well, wish us luck on packing.
