What should our focus be?

Today I met with an individual that we may hire as a company to do some training for us, and found out that he has served as a Mission President, taught at BYU, and is now a Stake President in BYU Idaho area. This interview made me think about several things. I realized that our focus should not be on obtaining a calling or anything of a short term nature but that our focus should be to become sanctified by Him who is mighty to save. Our focus must be on developing ourselves to be worthy to return to Him someday. If we will put our priorities straight, then along the way the Lord can use us as he sees fit.
